Nathaniel R Hankins

I began writing as a child. Journaling provided a way to process. I later graduated to other forms of art such as music, painting, and drawing. Throughout the years, I have maintained the desire for expression. Writing felt as if I was returning to the source. I traveled west to Colorado to study Creative Writing and Journalism at the University of Colorado at Boulder as a dual major. I am currently in Colorado and still attending CU Boulder. I will be leaving for the UK to pursue my MFA and PhD. MFA in occult, esoteric, and magic sciences; and a PhD in Creative Writing.

           My childhood was largely ungrounded. I began life in Virginia, moving to Illinois as a teenager and spending summers in southern California. I attended school in Illinois and Saint Louis. I spent time in the military as an infantryman and as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. During that time, I lived in (or worked) in California, Florida, Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Missouri, Washington D.C., etc. Very well traveled within the Continental United States. My bloodhound and I will probably leave Colorado when it comes time to begin my MFA.
